These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed through the online store on the website www.lacarioca.ch
2. Service
LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème guarantees the home delivery of quality products. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we aim to provide impeccable service. You can contact our customer service at any time via the email address . The products are handcrafted. No customization requests will be considered after payment has been made. Each change or addition will be charged extra according to the requests.
3. Acceptance of Terms
The customer acknowledges having read and expressly accepts without reservation the terms of sale at the time of placing an order. LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time and without notice, with immediate application of the new terms.
4. Warranty
Jewelry: 1 (one) year
Accessories, stationery, decor: 6 (six) months
Items covered by a warranty are subject to the conditions of the offer valid at the time of purchase. The warranty takes effect on the delivery date of the item, as evidenced by the shipping confirmation email which we ask you to keep carefully. Damage due to improper maintenance or failure to follow instructions is not covered.
5. Image Rights
The photographs illustrating the products are not contractually binding; they are simply presentation suggestions. If errors have been introduced, LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème cannot be held responsible under any circumstances. All photo rights are reserved. No reproduction or publication of the photographs is authorized without our written permission. As screen color display is not always accurate, LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème does not guarantee that the color of the products exactly matches the color displayed on the screen.
6. Order Procedures
The customer certifies that they are of legal age and have the right and power to order the merchandise. Any online order is considered final once the customer has clicked on the confirmation button. The buyer’s “click” on the order form constitutes an electronic signature which has, between the parties, the same value as a handwritten signature. The information provided by the buyer during the order process is binding: in case of error in the recipient’s details, the seller cannot be held responsible for any inability to deliver the product.
7. Prices
Prices are expressed in Swiss francs (CHF) in Switzerland (all taxes included) excluding processing and shipping fees. Lacarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème is subject to VAT. Prices may be changed at any time without notice, with items being charged based on the existing rate on the day the order is registered.
8. Accepted Payment Methods and Payment Terms
By credit card:
Visa, Mastercard and Amex credit cards via Stripe. The payment process is managed by Stripe and is fully secure. All online payments made with a credit card are processed on a secure server. The relevant information (such as the credit card number and expiration date) is encrypted during transmission over the Internet and is never sent or stored by Câlin Bohème. The purchase price is immediately debited at the time of order confirmation.

Shipping costs are indicated at the end of the online order. Shipping fees are automatically calculated at a flat rate based on the delivery location. For deliveries, we use Swiss Post or the provider chosen by the printing company based in Europe. An email is automatically sent to the customer to confirm the order, provided that the email address entered in the registration form is correct. Please check your email’s spam folder if you do not receive an order confirmation email.
The customer can choose during the order process whether to have the delivery with or without signature. For any order made without signature and in case of loss by the postal service, LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème cannot be held responsible and does not ensure full refund of your order. However, depending on the circumstances, LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème reserves the right to offer a goodwill gesture or not. No refund can be requested if the delivery method without signature is chosen. The customer must verify the completeness and accuracy of the information provided during registration on the lacarioca.ch website. The latter cannot be held responsible for input errors and the consequences in terms of delay or delivery errors.
In case of international shipping, the delivery method is exclusively with signature, and customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is solely responsible for all necessary steps to import the goods into their territory in accordance with applicable law. They also guarantee that they have previously inquired and ensured that the order does not violate any provisions of the law in force in the country of delivery or residence and that all information provided is accurate.
Under certain conditions, we may need to ask you for an additional shipping fee. In this case, you will be informed by email of the shipping costs. You will then have the option to modify or cancel your order.
Production Times
JEWELRY ACCESSORIES: Orders are generally processed and shipped within 3-5 business days after receipt of payment.
PRINTED ACCESSORIES: Orders are generally processed and shipped within 10-15 business days after receipt of payment.
In case of out of stock items, LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème will inform the customer and refund any advance payment already made without delay.
These timeframes are effective from the actual receipt of payment. Our delivery obligation is cancelled when we are not correctly or timely supplied despite the existence of a proper and adequate cover transaction and when we are not responsible for the unavailability of goods, we have immediately informed you of this, and we have not assumed any procurement risk. In case of unavailability of goods, we will refund any advance payment already made without delay.
10. Guarantee of Right of Return
The customer has the right to return within 14 days following the arrival of the goods at their home. If the customer is not fully satisfied, they have the option to return the goods in perfect condition in their original packaging within 14 days via an insured and traceable return service following the receipt of the goods. The product can be refunded or replaced with a gift voucher of equivalent value in the form of a promo code to be used for any order on the website www.lacarioca.ch to satisfy the buyer.
For personalized items: Any personalized product is neither exchangeable nor refundable unless it arrives damaged or defective.
In case of return by untracked mail, and lost by the Postal Service, no refund will be made.

11. Responsibilities
LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème cannot be held responsible for damages of any nature, whether material, immaterial, or bodily, that could result from the misuse of the products sold. The liability of LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème will be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be held accountable for simple errors or omissions that may have persisted despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the products as well as on their labels. The products offered comply with the Swiss legislation in force and the standards applicable in Switzerland. LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème cannot be held liable in case of non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the product is delivered. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify with local authorities the possibilities of importing or using the products you intend to order. In case of difficulties in the application of this contract, the buyer has the possibility, before any legal action, to seek an amicable solution. Indeed, complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith being always presumed in those who take the trouble to explain their situations. In case of dispute, the customer will address LaCarioca.ch by Câlin Bohème as a priority to obtain an amicable solution. Failing that, the legal jurisdiction of Nyon is solely competent, regardless of the place of delivery.
12. Disputes
These general conditions are subject to Swiss law and particularly to the Code of Obligations, which regulates aspects not expressly mentioned by these general conditions.
